Updating Image galleries on this article

I have updated the Images on this page into a test [Sandbox] page.

Is it fine to make these changes in the main Pages? If there are any concerns regarding images(Like JJ Thompson's), please advise. — Amandeep Singh^(talk) 09:43, 12 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Image galler

There are too many images in the gallery. Many of them are duplicated or simply not very informative. I have trimmed it down and added captions based on the file names.
