Picture
[edit]Should we use the book illustration picture for the main picture or the movie one? I can understand using the book picture but we don't do that for the Harry Potter Characters pages so why should we do it for this one? Cho Chang 02:17, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
Book Illustration. The Violet in the movie is sort of seperate from the original, there should be a picture of Emily Browning as Violet in the section about the movie though.
The End Update
[edit]Shouldn't someone update what happens to Violet during The End? I would do it myself, but I haven't read the book yet. Clamster5 13:47, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
welding
[edit]hey i was just wondering if violet wore a welding mask when using the torches, most likely
If you are refering to the episode in The Ersatz Elevator, no, she did not.
Then how did she protect her eyes from the flames?

Fair use rationale for Image:Violetbaudelairebed.jpg
[edit]Image:Violetbaudelairebed.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. ONE DAY I FELL IN LOVE WITH SOME ONE!!
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Violet's and Quigley's relationship
[edit]I was reading Violet's biography, and I was up to the point where it talks about how Violet grows close with Quigley. I was starting to smile because I always thought their relationship was really cute, but THEN... "it is implied at one point that they may have had sex" No! This is a kid's book, I always thought they shared a kiss in the scene. Somebody side with me so I know I'm right to change it so that I can. Othatzsokewl (talk) 21:30, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it does not say anything about what they did. A kiss makes the most sense, but no specific action is ever heavily implied. Certainly they weren't having sex while sitting on the ledge of a frozen waterfall. The Quagmire page has already been repeatedly subjected to similar inane speculation. Sorry I didn't catch this one. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 02:19, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Death
[edit]Why do we assume she may have died if it's stated in the Beatrice Letters that she didn't? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.11.2.33 (talk) 12:21, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
