"Vine is an Earl and also a King of Hell, commanding 36 legions of demons." Oh yeah, who says? Where does this little known factoid come from? The Bible or from some fantasy novel? Lots of different cultures have "Demon" myths: Europe, African or Asia. There is not a single tradition: not even within europe. This article needs to both cite it sources and place the Demon Vine into context — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.251.125.7 (talk) 13:21, 2 September 2007
- This is according to the Goetia, which in Western Esotericism is arguably the most well-known tradition in demonology. I do agree that the article is poorly cited, especially the statement that this demon can take souls without permission and all of that, which I believe is *not* in the Goetia. 98.176.56.98 (talk) 22:40, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
