Things people might want to know about vasoconstriction

[edit]

This section is for "obvious questions" to suggest additional content to a qualified author.

My first question when reading this article was "where does the blood go during vasoconstriction?" and thus "by how much can vasoconstriction reduce the volume of the closed circulatory system?" (76.118.216.33 (talk) 00:56, 20 August 2010 (UTC))[reply]

I was able to cite why Strattera caused vassoconstriction and I still noticed my information was deleated. I have learned what the expectations are and have provided information. Is there another reason why the information was edited out. Did you find the sources I cited to be incorrect? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.181.126.71 (talk) 20:26, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have explained on your talk page; the two problems were that you 1) copied a big chunk of info from another website, rather than condensing and summarizing that info, and 2) because discussing Strattera here is very undue. This article is not a place to put every drug that has some sort of vasoconstrictive effect. If the info is reliable sourced, put it on Strattera. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:51, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone who is more qualified please consider the following: I am unsure if the endogenous section should contain muscarinic agonists (muscarinic receptor M2). This page may also not be in agreement:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomic_nervous_system#Blood_vessels thank you Vokesk (talk) 00:35, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Which animals use vasoconstriction?

[edit]

is it restricted to (some) mammals or do birds use it as well? Jmgjansen (talk) 13:47, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I found out: (at least some) birds, reptiles and amfibians do.
