Hello, I don't think this article should be marked for deletion because the notability of the subject is at least equal to that of Kitura and Perfect (server framework). Some metrics to measure notability include Stack Overflow questions, which measure developer interest in the community, where:
In addition, Vapor has more GitHub stars than both other projects, further demonstrating the notability of the topic.
Lastly, Vapor is referenced in another notable article [[Swift (programming language)].
I believe these factors show the notability of the article, but if you have more suggestions as to how the notability can be improved, please feel free to edit or let me know here, or on my talk page. Thanks! Confiture1271 (talk) 16:46, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Confiture1271 and thank you for your good faith efforts at establishing notability. Earlier this year Wikipedia made the notability requirements for companies and products more strict. You can see the results at WP:NCORP. To be notable a product must have significant coverage from multiple independent reliable sources. A comparison of questions on stack overflow to other products (whose pages were created before these new requirements) and a mention at Swift's article does not establish notability as they are not significant coverage from multiple independent reliable sources. If you can find those kind of sources great. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 19:16, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
Hi Barkeep49, One of my last edits added two published book sources and published conference paper from the International Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, all of which are independent, secondary sources with substantial coverage. After reading the requirements at WP:NCORP, I believe the these sources meet the required criteria. Let me know what you think! Best, Confiture1271 (talk) 19:08, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
