[edit]I saw the last few minutes of a programme called Britis Get Rich in China where Mr Miller and two other guys were dealing in China. Someone who saw the whole programme might want to add some info to this article. Jooler 23:27, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
The user 86.131.75.189 removed a block of text relating to the intention of Mr Miller to resolve any outstanding complaints his customers had, as has been confirmed by the Watchdog television program which was broadcast. I undid the edit because it's factual and presents a more neutral in the viewpoint of the article. Without it, the article reads like Mr Miller either doesn't acknowledge that he has had some customer complaints, or that he doesn't wish to deal with them. With this text in place, it shows that Mr Miller is actively working to sort out his customer problems which I think demonstrates his good faith in what is otherwise a very negatively biased article about him. - perhaps someone with more time could include a reference to the article http://www.nationaltradingstandards.uk/news/prison-sentences-for-unfair-trading-by-kitchen-businesses/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.109.254.24 (talk) 11:05, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
Recent reverts
[edit]Regarding my recent reverts, I believe there to have been no valid reason for the information not to be in the article. Having spent some time researching Mr Miller, I am aware he has two children and it is also quite clear he is a serial entrepeneur - having started several companies and being an international businessman. I can think of no other suitable occupational title as not all of his business interests are kitchen related. I will also try and source a suitable image for the article and upload it when I have one which complies with the Wikipedia copyright guidelines.
Regarding the external links, one of these is to an article which helps balance out the blatant negative bias this article portrays and has given Mr Miller his "right to reply" in quite a frank matter about several points raised in this article, and the sources linked to it. Another link is to a well known UK national newspaper article which contains some information regarding some of the events going on and seems a valuable source for which there is no apparent reason for it not to be included.
One of the other links is obviously to Mr Miller's personal website which seems to be a perfectly acceptable link considering he is the subject matter, and it does not appear at all to be a blatant sales site but is clearly listing further journalistic articles and other information relating to the events surrounding Mr Miller, and giving his further right to reply on the issues surrounding him.
The other link seems to be a forum - but the source and intention are unknown. However, having looked over this it seems to be supplying original information which is (initially) verifiable. It may be related to Mr Miller but is a bit of a white elephant. I believe more research needs to be done regarding it as a relevant source of information, so I intent to register at the forum and challenge some of the claims made with a requirement of actual proof. If this is not soon forthcoming I shall remove the link again. Puttenhoe wiki (talk) 16:49, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Inclusion/exclusion of "England" in lead
[edit]I don't think that "Rochdale" or "North West England" is specific enough. The country of England should succeed each of these locations, so people not familiar with England would know. Epicgenius (talk) 18:09, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
