Track and Field

[edit]

I think Rolf's accomplishments are noteworthy. Perhaps just a brief mention, not a complete removal from the article. Fbdave (talk) 22:29, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is, the section was by and large copied verbatim from the websites listed as references, and those references were not well-written in the first place. If we can encapsulate her accomplishments in a sentence, rather than three paragraphs, I'll be happy.
As it was, the reason I was a little annoyed about the second revision is the first time my revision was almost immediately reverted by someone who was just reverting any large-scale changes, assuming that they were vandalism. If this explanation that you thought the accomplishments were noteworthy was given at the beginning, I wouldn't have thought the revert was simply because it was a removal of text (again, a copyright-violating section). I will post a possibility on the page now. Spell4yr (talk) 03:24, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

– Per the earlier discussion on Talk:Valparaiso University men's basketball#Requested move 16 February 2021, in which it was determined that reliable sources had followed the team's lead and dropped the nickname. I listed this as an "implicit move", but no one went ahead with it. To be clear, this request encompasses all sports which competed or will compete after February 11, 2021, and any team seasons which started after that date, but not the team seasons which were ongoing at the time as they played under the Crusaders name. "2020" is a misnomer for the football team, which didn't open their season until March 13, 2021, because of COVID-19. O.N.R. (talk) 18:39, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
