The following statement was removed from the article, could not find any reference and the user IP seems to be vandalizing a lot. --Memming 15:50, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Valkenburg Castle was the last place to fall to the Germans during World War 2. It held out for one day longer than the rest of the Netherlands.

Consider adding more visuals to give readers an idea of what the castle originally looked like as well as minor aspects such as the siege tunnels and other interior spaces. The article itself is still very informative while keeping a neutral tone. The sources added are all reliable and offer relevant information, overall a great article.
