Utimaco is not Sophos
[edit]As of 2013 Sophos and Utimaco are unaffiliated. I have undone the redirection to Sophos and am quickly creating an article for Utimaco. It could use some further work with citations and edits. john factorial (talk) 13:56, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Please discuss here whether this article deserves deletion or meets the notability criteria for corporations. The German article was proposed to be deleted for this reason and ultimately kept. john factorial (talk) 15:51, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- The considerations in the de.wiki discussion seem to focus on Relevanzkritirien, specifically about it having been on the stock market, which isn't a consideration on en.wiki. WP:NCORP specifies rather strict sourcing requirements, and I see no indication that these are met here or in the de.wiki article and discussion. signed, Rosguill talk 16:04, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- Here are some further notes on the topic and sources I found that might be useful in establishing whether Utimaco meets WP:NCORP notability criteria, hastily provided here. No personal opinion yet.
- Utimaco Atalla's article might have something useful, they are apparently a subsidiary of this company.

- These sources unfortunately are no good. The first source primarily cites Wikipedia articles (WP:CIRCULAR). Sources 2, 3, 4 and 5 are unbylined press releases. signed, Rosguill talk 18:36, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
- I agree. Please note that now user @PaulusseS has been paid to rewrite the entire article on behalf of the company. john factorial (talk) 14:21, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
