More than one subject in the article ?
[edit]I have just come across this article following my creation of the Willie "Long Time" Smith article. It appears to me that the original 1950s record label article has been 'piggybacked' by a new creation, presumably known as United Music Group. See this edit and thereafter. My knowledge of the 1950s label is almost zero, but this article does not look right at all. Could someone give it a close look ? Thanks - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 16:08, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for reaching out. It does indeed look like the dormant label was purchased by Sony in 2020, as per their website. The article definitely needs work, but not my area of interest or expertise. Onel5969 TT me 18:17, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for what you have done. Perhaps some editor with knowledge, or at least, interest in the subject matter will improve matters further. Poor old Willie never saw his meagre creation issued by the label ! - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 19:31, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
