Is there any chance someone could contribute something about the history of oil tanks, underground or otherwise? When did residential oil tanks come into common usage, were most of them underground at first, when did they start to be replaced with in-basement or above-ground tanks, etc.? i copy edited a bit on the surface and added refs for expansion.
the article still is in its infancy needs significant work IMO: generally updated figures, refs for unsourced statements, and last not least international balance, as this focuses entirely on the US, hence my flag.--Wuerzele (talk) 19:44, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
