More than one book with the same name?
[edit]Salam VenusFeuerFalle, do you know that there is an "Umm al-Kiṫâb" (Arabic: أُمّ الـكِـتـاب, "Mother of the Book"), which is referred to in the Quran?[1][2][3] Leo1pard (talk) 03:53, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
I think that contents of this page should be shifted to Umm al-Kitab (Ismaili book), unless it is preferable to keep that as a redirect to the section to which it currently redirects, and that this page should be redirected to here, unless one can put enough references and information into this page, to turn it into an article with sufficient WP:Notability. - Yes you are right, thanks. The "Umm al Kitab" is also the "heavenly Quran" and sometimes the first Surah of Quran. We should make a disambiguation page. I wanted to do it, then I create the others (but didnot find the time sorry for that) and I remembered that just AFTER I made this article.--VenusFeuerFalle (talk) 22:11, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- I now created a disambiguation-page, since the term "umm al kitab" relates to three different things, all in Islamic usage. I am not even sure about the Ismaili article, which "umm al kitab" is mentioned here? is it about the "archtypical" book, or the written book entitled umm al kitab, or is in that text, the Ismaili Umm al Kitab identified with the "Heavenly Quran"? Since all this "umm al Kitabs" and the fact is can be placed in a category, if we make them an article, I think it is worth an article on its own. And I am sure we can expand that article, for example with religions who influenced that work, a summory and how it reflects Ismaili thought.--VenusFeuerFalle (talk) 22:11, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
