Copyvio
[edit]I've tagged this as a copyvio as the material comes from a various parts of the UNC Lineberger site. Looking back to the earliest versions, the material still appears to be copied though it may be a US government publication putting it into the public domain. See [1] and compare to the early version of this article. -- Whpq (talk) 03:53, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, the original version was probably largely copied from a public domain (.gov site), but those profiles, while checked and edited by the National Cancer Insitute, are still based on the hospital's own PR materials and press releases, and would still need a fundalmental re-write for encyclopedic tone, e.g. "UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is a matrix cancer center at one of the nation’s premier public universities.". Re-write available
[edit]I've re-written this as a viable stub at Talk:UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center/Temp. Note that when the new article is in place, those wishing to expand it must do so without copy-pasting from the official website or anywhere else and without adding PR hype—this is an encyclopedia article, not an advertisement page for your hospital, distinguished though it may be. And please reference your additions to reliable independent sources. – Voceditenore (talk) 14:30, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
