Great article, shame we can't link to the sections because of the images in the headers - Way to go! Chaosdruid (talk) 06:38, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Per the most recent edition of AR 670-1 and the new DA Pam 670-1, there has been a change to how Soldiers are regimentally affiliated. Based on AR 670-1 and DA Pam 670-1 and current guidance that AR 670-1 has superceded AR 600-82, any Soldier may now regimentally affiliate with any unit to which they can prove assignment, i.e. ERB, orders, etc. This is a change from the old system described in this article, where a combat arms Soldier could affiliate with any regiment within their PMOS regardless of whether they were actually assigned to that regiment, and a CS/CSS Soldier could only affiliate with their whole-corps regiment. If the original author of this article is not available to make the changes, I would be willing to make the updates. I think the only major change needed would be the addition of a new section detailing the change to the policy. Kintrix (talk) 09:05, 6 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

3d Brigade, 10th Mountain Division

[edit]

What is the proper way to refer to the 3d Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division? I see them referred to as the 3d Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division, and as the 3d Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain (their Facebook page has this.) Anyone know the official way they should be listed? Sg413 (talk) 03:55, 7 January 2018 (UTC)sg413[reply]
