Summary → Official summary

[edit]

Can the Infobox legislation template be changed to read "Official summary" instead of just "Summary"?

The reason I ask is that the summary provided in the draft bill is not an accurate representation of the contents and consequences of the proposed legislation. This view is not simply mine — academics and organizations have strongly criticized the mismatch between the way the bill is described and portrayed and its likely and highly damaging consequences. Also to note that I have just made a four page public submission to the Justice Select Committee and reviewed quite a lot of material in that process. The photograph on the right might be appropriate for this article. It was taken on Waitangi Day in 2024. I prefer not to add my own work to Wikipedia directly when editorial decisions may be involved. Best, RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 21:50, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
