Capitalisation

[edit]

Different sources seem to use different capitalisation:

use "TOJ" (upper case 'O'), with the explanation that "TOJ" stands for "Team Obermoser Jorg", which seems (to me) quite reasonable/likely.

If the "O" does indeed stand for "Obermoser", then it seems likely (to me) that it would have been capitalised. Thoughts? DH85868993 (talk) 11:44, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

When I created this page years ago I just copied the name as it was written on the F2 page without putting much thought to it. I feel like the correct capitalisation is TOJ, RacingSportCars also list it this way.
Usually when the listed name is an abbreviation all letters are capitalised (e.g. ATS, BRM, HRT, etc.) Jahn1234567890 (talk) 12:18, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) A lower-case title (Toj) was chosen by the article creator, and it stayed at that until yesterday, when I changed it to ToJ as that was the capitalisation used in the article's source (I was concerned not so much with the capitalisation as with moving away from the primary title and avoiding an awkward disambiguator). But if TOJ turns out to be found in a greater proportion of sources, then it makes sense to use that in the article's title. – Uanfala (talk) 12:24, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
