Removed info
[edit]Wikipedia is not a dictionary, so i removed this: "* A tie is the standard term used to describe some competitive sports events:
- Matches in knockout cup competitions in football (soccer), such as the FA Cup
- Matches between national tennis teams in the Davis Cup and Fed Cup"

Another "Tie"
[edit]"Ties" or "draws" are also used in lists such as top ten lists. I couldn't find a page about this so can anyone make one? I would like to know the rules of how to use "tie" when listing things. I saw a person used a tie for both 1st and 2nd positions, but I don't think that's how it's used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.251.216.117 (talk) 22:23, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
