Being a 'champion' of King Richard III I have read Josephine TEY's novel, 'The Daughter of Time'. There is great similarity here, for in two instances an hospitalised detective { GRANT / MORSE } takes up an investigation of a centuries old crime. Both detectives have an assistant checking into old documentation and records and in both instances friends bring them books to read. Both have an officious hospital Matron with which to contend. GRANT reads up on Richard and the accusation he murdered his nephews and MORSE reads a book on an Oxford boat canal murder for which two men were hanged. Both detectives believe there has been a grave mis-carriage of justice and the accused is / are innocent. Insidivs Fvngvs (talk) 13:33, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
