[edit]the first few bars of the song "We've Been Had" were used in a car commercial not too long ago, maybe a year or so? I dont remember the name of the car, but the tag line was "welcome to childhood" and featured the song. susanbamboozlin 03:33, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I've read that it was featured in a commercial for the Saturn ION, I've just added it to the article, Brendanfox 23:47, 1 January 2006 (UTC).
thank you! that commercial is what got me into the walkmen and they have become one of my favorite bands. susanbamboozlin 02:48, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Brendanfox says the song was used for a Saturn ION commercial, but the referenced article says Nissan. And my memory says it was Mitsubishi.
Here's a Youtube video of a Saturn Ion commercial with that song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKIcqPB1Q1E
No evidence to support my memory of Mitsubishi, though I would've bet my life on it. Huh.--98.155.139.253 (talk) 04:13, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
Conjectural, opinionted assesment of the reason for poor critical reception
[edit]I removed this line, since it's rather subjective:
"No doubt the reviews are due to Leithauser's diminishing lyrical skill and creativity."
Can the song "Juveniles" be mentioned in the article
[edit]"Juveniles" from the Lisbon album is getting more than usual attention. Can this song somehow be mentioned in the article? 172.164.36.130 (talk) 04:23, 19 March 2011 (UTC) BG
