When is it recorded?
[edit]In the miscellaneous section is says that The Friday Night Project is recorded on the Thursday night before it is aired. However, on the show they always comment on the latest person to be evicted from Big Brother so how can it be recorded a day before the eviction results are revealed?
- They record 2 versions of the possible results then air the appropriate version -- Ryan2807 16:15 12 August 2006 (UTC)
- So in last weeks episode they must have recorded at least 4 of the Big Brother scenes with JLC as Nikki and then air the version they made where Nikki returned?
- I think they only filmed one of those scenes as nikki was favourite to go back in the house, maybe. -- Ryan2807 12:52 16 August 2006 (UTC)
- On the Big Brother (UK) final night this year, the FNP they made a 'mini' advert that was shown in the advert break between the two BB shows. JLC (as Nikki) mentioned 'where are my best bits?', something that could not have been foreseeable and must have been recorded within the previous hour. Also, the intro to the show (which featured Ross Kemp) described Pete Bennet's exit from the house, including the 'backward roll down the stairs' (or along those lines) said by Alan Carr. This must show that these parts of the show must have been recorded within the past hour or so. The comment:
The Friday Night Project is not live, as they record the show at The London Studios on Thursday evening.

Episode 2 series 1
[edit]The band playing with Neil Morrissey as the guest host is incorrect - it was definitely the Futureheads, I was there.

Episode 7 Series 4
[edit]This is just to note that Ashley Jensen has been confirmed as host of the Series Finale and not Nicole Richie or Nikki Grahame. This was confirmed last week by on screen television guides and on television sites.
Table suggestion
[edit]Could I suggest that someone with more knowledge about tables extend the table to include a column for "Air Date". I think this would improve the season tables. Thanks for your thought Timclare (talk) (sign here) 22:32, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- I have included air dates in the table for you, hope it helps, bye. AxG (talk) (guest book) 22:38, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Cilla Black hosting the finale
[edit]I wanted to bring up the issue of Cilla Black and her "hosting" the series finale. I was a bit hesitant at first, as I thought that the producers wouldn't have booked that far. (I know that JLC and AC have stated who future hosts would be in radio and interviews) and I have seen hosts as far as two weeks from now on digital tv guides and TV.com. Anyhow, when I saw Cilla mentioned on the page for the 5th time, I decided to check it out, so I tried to find an official site, which is where i found that forum post. Somebody had mentioned that she was going to be hosting this series (to make up for pulling out last summer) and people were treating it as a rumour, until one person called the production office and got it confirmed. So that's where I added the link. This is just a suggestion. Just in case, she pulls out again or whatever. Perhaps instead of putting her name next to episode 14, perhaps we can add a line above the episode listings mentioning that she is rumoured or slated to host the series finale. I leave it up to you guys to decide.
- Cilla Black may indeed host The Friday Night Project but until there is a credible source (TV listing or official website) she can't be added. Bencey 15:49, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
I think I found a reputable source. However, I thought it was best to share it with you to see what you thought. It doesn't say what date she will be hosting just that she is scheduled to host this summer

Guest Panelists so early?
[edit]I am just wondering what time the show is taped usually on Thursdays? Right now in Canada where I am it's almost 3 pm Thursday and we're five hours behind Britain., So it will be 8pm there now. Does it tape around 6 or 7 pm? Can FridayNight get to a computer that fast from the studio to type in who the guest panelists were for Who knows the Guest host? 69.90.207.69 18:58, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Kanye West?
[edit]Jo Whiley announced it on her radio show recently that Kanye West will be presenting the final show in the series. I thought I'd announce it here, so you can mull over whether this is enough proof to put it on the main page.
Based on SNL?
[edit]The Saturday Night Live page says the this show is based on SNL. Would someone who has seen both comment, or provide a reference? Rojomoke 15:06, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Dates
[edit]Please do not revert the dates in this article. First of all, this is a British series, so the dates are all written in the British way. Also, most of the dates were not conform to other dates mentioned in the page so I have changed them to make the page more readable. So, please do not revert these. 69.90.207.212 16:30, 5 September 2007 (UTC)samusek2
Fair use rationale for Image:Fnp series 1.JPG
[edit]Image:Fnp series 1.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

"Citation needed" after Hit talk show?
[edit]I was just curious as to why Zir readded the "citation needed" tag to the first sentence of the article "The Friday Night Project is a hit talk show". What is the judgment necessitated to eliminate that tag. (I do realize now that someone added the word "hit" to that first sentence recently) However, It does get nominated a lot for awards, including the most recent BAFTA nominations and is going into Series 6. I was just wondering what the rationale for the placement of the tag is and why it is need in the present article.. 69.28.232.125 (talk) 23:33, 22 March 2008 (UTC) samusek2

Series 4: Show Two - Tamzin Outhwaite?
[edit]The "Watch Out X's about" details should also be mentioned. Especially the controversial sexy scene in which a woman exposed her buttocks not knowing it was going to be aired. There was talks of a legal battle but they never materialised.
Here is a description of the ‘Watch Out X’s about” section copied from HereToday, could somebody please confirm the episode it is from, I suspect Series 4 Episode 2:
A man was stitched up in his house. He thought he’d surprise his girlfriend (Caribbean ethnicity) when the camera crew comes in to record them willing a cash sum, but she was the one about to surprise him when she got into a naughty dress with only a thong covering her midsection, and came to him as soon as the camera crew came in the door. She acted angrily at her boyfriend then the prank was revealed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.107.123.60 (talk) 21:59, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Friday Night Project Recent Edits
[edit]I just wanted to let you people know about certain edits I have made to the Friday Night Project page. First of all, I found the link to the Friday Night Project BB Launch Episode. Also, I have left the Specials section at the end of the list of episodes, for two reasons. One is the fact that it would look a bit unbalanced going from Series 6, than Specials, then Series 7. Then, you will always have the possibility of Sunday Night Project specials too, and I think it would be best to put all the specials in one place rather than have two seperate specials blocks. I gather now that you feel that the SNP is different from the FNP, but the two shows are still going to have the same format and be the same show, only on a different day, so I thought they should be treated the same way.
I appreciate any input from you.
Thanks, 70.52.61.111 (talk) 15:09, 25 May 2008 (UTC)samusek2
Bands on The Friday/Sunday Night Project
[edit]I just wanted to ask what people thought of what to do when bands appear on the show. So far, we have had Girls Aloud twice (once in a series, once in a special). It seems that in a regular series, bands with more than three members can only have up to three members hosting. (Also, by the looks of the BB Launch Project, it looks as if you only can fit 3 people at a time at the desk)
Anyways, when Girls Aloud hosted, I put the three members of Girls Aloud like this " Cheryl, Cole, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud" under series 3 and put a note in the Notes Section and I recall that Bencey just took out the "from Girls Aloud" bit, so when I found out about the that only 3 members from Boyzone were mentioned, I copied the same format as Bencey allowed for Series 3, Girls Aloud. I don't know if we should add a note in the Notes section or what. What would be preferable to do in the case of large bands?
ETA : Also I reviewed the episode on Youtube, and they actually credit the three members that are on the show and don't say Boyzone. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=grGDD-uuZ1A 69.157.171.185 (talk) 14:46, 1 July 2008 (UTC)samusek2
A recent change
[edit]I hope it's ok, but i noticed the page said "can only seats 3 people" i edited that to "only seat 3 people". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.32.126.12 (talk) 11:37, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
Yvette Fielding
[edit]I'm sure Yvette Fielding made a guest appearance in a recent series of The Sunday Night Project. Alan, Justin and Yvette went on a supposed ghost-hunt in the style of Most Haunted. I just wondered if anyone knew which episode it was, and if so, shouldn't she be listed on the page? Bleaney (talk) 23:35, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
