Date dispute

[edit]

Are you sure the single was released in 1993? Sure, the album Musique Vol. 1 1993-2005 stats that Daft Punk started in 1993 but that doesn't mean they started recording their songs in 1993. The single could have been recorded in 1993 but wasn't released until April 1994. I'm only using Discogs as a resource for the date it was released. If there are any reliable resources that may state that the single was released in 1993, please provide them. Thanks. Douglasr007 01:52, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The 1994 date is indirectly referenced in Remixmag [1] and presumably in print. I'm reverting the edits to reflect this. Just64helpin 15:24, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's like the song, Short Circuit (Discovery, 2001) which was being played in clubs in 1997, may have been around and played but wasn't released. Legalways (talk) 22:08, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

It's been 15 years since the article was made and looking at anything that needs to be cleaned up within Daft Punk's biography and I think this article could easily be added to Homework as a redirect to the album's history. We have the sources to establish the song's value but I think this would be a forever stub. Thoughts? – The Grid (talk) 19:15, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
