I dont think you do hear a shotgun loading in the final scene. If you listen carefully it sounds more like the creature is stepping on something in the background.

Similarities to Faerie Tale

Numerous people have mentioned online the many coincidental similarities to the Raymon E Fiest novel 'Faerie Tale' that can be found in the movie.210.56.91.108 (talk) 13:11, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
