The Duke of Edinburgh Awards → The Duke of Edinburgh Awards (The Inbetweeners) – redirect current title to Duke of Edinburgh's Award; many other episodes of this TV show use "(The Inbetweeners)" disambiguation. We can add a hatnote at the real awards article back to the TV episode. -- 70.51.202.113 (talk) 02:21, 2 October 2015 (UTC)

- Support per nom. GregKaye 05:25, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom, and pace everything AussieLegend says below which is completely incorrect. See WP:TITLE / WP:CRITERIA and WP:Disambiguation In ictu oculi (talk) 02:23, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- "Everything"? Really? Exactly how is everything that I said incorrect? I am most interested in your response, as it is not clear how the content at the linked pages supports your assertion. --AussieLegend (✉) 13:04, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Support. The current is terribly similar to Duke of Edinburgh's Award. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 04:29, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Similar, but not the same, which is important. --AussieLegend (✉) 13:04, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose as suggested - We only include disambiguation when necessary. There is no need for it here as there is no other article titled "The Duke of Edinburgh Awards". The arguments for not redirecting this article to Duke of Edinburgh's Award are essentially the same as those used in the various, lengthy requested move discussions for The Big Bang Theory, none of which has ever been successful. These discussions are now archived here, here, here, here, and here. Essentially the difference is "The". This episode is "The Duke of Edinburgh Awards" while the other excludes "the". That said, the article is essentially just a plot only summary of the episode, and therefore fails WP:PLOT. Notability has not been established so the article should be deleted, but that is a separate matter to this RM. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:14, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
- I should add that, in addition to the use of "The" in this article's title, there are other differences. The other article uses "Edinburgh's", the possessive form of "Edinburgh" as used in this article, and also uses the singular "Award" rather than "Awards" as used in this article. In fact the only words actually used in both titles are "Duke" and "of". Perhaps we should be looking at Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Edinburgh-class cruiser as well. They have even more words in common. --AussieLegend (✉) 15:18, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Comment. Why do you say We can add a hatnote at the real awards article back to the TV episode then 2 minutes later propose this article is deleted? [1] I've removed the proposed deletion template as this is a popular and notable enough programme to justify having an article for each episode. Zarcadia (talk) 14:42, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
- There is no such thing as a popular enough programme to have an article for each episode. Each episode must show notability of its own, as WP:NOTINHERITED. It's already been shown that several episodes are not notable of this TV show through AfD. The move request is not exclusionary to the PROD, since if it is deleted, no hatnote would be necessary. This episode shows no evidence of notability, and is virtually unreferenced. -- 70.51.202.113 (talk) 23:42, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
