Expanded Universe: editor's error?

Re Heinlein's Expanded Universe and spelling "Gondour" as "Gondor" -- I vaguely remember reading something a while back to the effect that this may have been due to an editor's error rather than Heinlein's, as Heinlein's comments in the book were transcribed from phone conversations. I haven't been able to track down a firm cite for this yet. -- Writtenonsand 17:01, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
