The matter of which is the oldest pub in Australia is contentious, and a consensus has not been publicly reached yet. I think the best idea would be to discuss this 'highly' controversal topic here: Talk:Australian_pub#Oldest_pub

Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance

The Bush Inn has heritage listing with the National Trust of Australia for its heritage values. Nothing more needs to be said about the notability of this article. ^[1]Jkokavec (talk) 09:15, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
