Disney's Jungle Book
[edit]I came to this page as the tune was running through my head. I was hoping to read about the one sung in the "Jungle Book" animated feature film from the 1960's... This was sung in Barbershop style by the vultures at the waterhole, joined by Shere Khan at the end...85.158.139.99 (talk) 09:29, 19 November 2009 (UTC)Lance Tyrell
Kind of like...
[edit]oth verse and chorus move rather close to the Weather Report classic A Remark You Made, a piece which Bacharach most probably knew (I first pointed out here that Stevie Wonder certainly knows WR, then realized it's not a Stevie Wonder original). I'm not saying it's conscious lift., and it's got different keys and a more straightforward structure but the similarities are striking. Strausszek (talk) 15:53, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Madeline Bell Version
[edit]The Madeline Bell song "That's What Friends Are For" is not the same as the Rod Stewart song. The melody and lyrics are completely different from one another and not written by the same people. Removed the Madeline Bell version from this article as such.
