"TERA is also a useful interface for broadcast communications technology (BCT)."

The word also is pretty strong there, since this connector never actually caught on for networking AFAIK (I've been unable to locate a single network switch, card, or transceiver), and it's very likely that it never actually caught on in broadcast.
