Eight villagers were murdered and 150 houses destroyed.
[edit]Eight? Thats incorrect
The number of deaths in this village alone is between 170-200 people (among them many women, children, and the elderly). This is indicated by a number of historical studies - recorded testimonies of surviving villagers who managed to escape. Among them was my grandmother. According to her testimony, on the night of March 10, 1944, the Poles attacked the village Szychowice, killed all the people who did not have time to hide/escape (without exception), and burned all the houses.

I went with people from Kosmovo to Szychowice to bury the beaten, but the bandits do not let me, they shoot at people every time. Yesterday I went to Szychowice again and saw that the corpses of the killed began to be eaten by pigs that walk around the burnt areas hungry. Many people from Szychowice crossed the Bug river").
