I have a couple of factual corrections I'd like to see made please:
1) I was born in the early 1970s, not 1960s
2) I lived in Albuquerque until I was 18 when I went to college.
3) I moved to Minneapolis in 1997 before the birth of my son. (He was born in 1998)
4) My second novel is called CHASING SHADOWS (Knopf, 2013). It also received numerous honors, including being a named a best of 2013 by Kirkus, YALSA, and Bank Street. It has also been nominated for a TAYSHA's award, a MInnesota Book Award, and a Florida Teen Readers Award. It is a Junior Library Guild Selection and was selected by YALSA for Outstanding Reads for College Bound and Illinois Read for a Lifetime list
5) I teach at Hamline University now and have since 2011.
6) In 2000, when I left law school, I began writing.
7) "Swallow" was not listed in 2009 Best American New fiction
Thank you again for taking the time to create this page. I appreciate the hard work.
Thanks for pointing this out. I have to verify and cite the info ("author said so on talk page" doesn't count) but I'll work on making those corrections. Fuzchia (talk) 21:44, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
