Australia

The Sutherland Astronomical Society is a major amateur astronomical society in Australia. It operates the Green Point Observatory, was instrumental in the formation of National Australian Convention of Amateur Astronomers, both of which have existing pages, and members have discovered 2 comets and a nova. The information added so far is a stub and I plan to add further information in the near future when my research into the history of the society is complete.
