Notability

[edit]

I have not been able to verify the authenticity of the award for this film. Based on that criteria, I do not believe this page meets notability guidelines. WriterWithNoName (talk) 18:15, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Linkedin: Ethan Shaftel who wrote, directed and produced Suspension, makes no mention of any award on his Linkedin account. Shaftel does state that EasyAction films was created by himself, along with three partners specifically to produce this film. WriterWithNoName (talk) 18:44, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Is something notable, merely because it was produced? WriterWithNoName (talk) 22:21, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
*CORRECTION* Shaftel's linkedin page states that this film won an award other than the one stated in this article. WriterWithNoName (talk) 11:51, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose RfD, notable enough. It also has 1250 userratings on imdb, which is way more than some of the other movies which are getting featured on here. --Fixuture (talk) 00:48, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Simply being produced does not make a movie notable, just as having acting credits does not make an actor notable. I do not believe this page meets Wikipedia's notability requirements. That being said, I tried contacted Ethan Shaftel via Facebook to see if he can clarify the award this film is said to have received. WriterWithNoName (talk) 01:15, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:NRV WriterWithNoName (talk) 11:26, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the error regarding the award this film received and cited IMDB as the source. That being said, I do not consider IMDB as useful beyond providing list information. WriterWithNoName (talk) 12:26, 22 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page Updates

[edit]

Ethan Shaftel has provided Wikipedia with an image of the award won at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival. Shaftel also pointed me to a short video on Vimeo that details the making of the film, as well as the VFX from the project. WriterWithNoName (talk) 14:45, 28 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

While this page is much improved from August of 2015, I would like more written information as to how this film came into existence and not a link to a youtube video. I would like to see the synopsis told in someone's own words, and not a paste job from Allmovie. WriterWithNoName (talk) 16:42, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No-one has bothered in four years, so I've removed the blatant violation of our policies and corrected the date, removed RS refs though not all statements without them (that would probably make the article less than a stub). Whoever originally did all this clearly has no interest in learning how to edit Wikipedia competently.ZarhanFastfire (talk) 02:34, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
