"She gives few details of her personal life"

Huh? "Stop the Insanity!" is (almost) as much autobiography as health tome, and does a decent job of explaining her history. I haven't touched the comment 'cos I don't know what to put instead, but it seems off to me... --Irrevenant [ talk ] 06:50, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Powter.jpg

Bankruptcy

Not certain how to integrate it into the article (or even if it is actually relevant) but Business Week Online has a copy of an article from 1995 detailing her bankruptcy and legal issues that were the source of it.

Removed YouTube link and related information

I removed the source link to the Susan Powter YouTube video because it's a copyright violation. That left potentially controversial information with no source, so I deleted that as well. I added a refimprove tag to the article because biographies of living people need to be fully and properly sourced. momoricks (make my day) 04:54, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Removed potentially controversial info that lacked sources

I removed numerous paragraphs that violated WP:BLP. Please provide reliable, verifiable sources when adding information, especially if it could be construed as inflammatory, or it will be removed without ceremony. momoricks (make my day) 00:41, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Nutritionist not Dietitian

I have changed any mention of Ms Powter as a "dietitian" to "nutritionist." In the US, where she lives and Australia, where she was born and lived until the age of 10, "dietitian" is a legally protected term through the American Dietetic Association and the Dietitians Association of Australia, respectively. Nutritionist is not a legally protected term, therefore anyone without professional qualifications may use the title. Ms Powter has routinely denied that she is a dietitian: She also has discussed the fact that she left school in 9th Grade. So, unless she has earned a degree and become accredited in either country after 1994, it is incorrect to refer to her as a dietitian.
