- Comment:
AfD still in progress.Article been expanded and the sources improved. File:FirstAvenue.jpg is the First Avenue image if you need one for the ALTs. I would love to use File:Prince 1983 1st Avenue.jpg this picture of Prince from around the time McClellan hired him, but the 2008 photo probably has a safer provenance.

- COMMENT: Using an image of Prince in a DYK about Steve is a reach. David notMD (talk) 23:40, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
- David notMD, you're welcome to take a pic of McClellan. I tried today but unfortunately came out with a blur. Or you could suggest that we use an ALT. -SusanLesch (talk) 02:45, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hook has been improved and the photo removed. Thanks. -SusanLesch (talk) 20:41, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
- The article is long enough and expanded enough. I assume good faith on the offline references and that there are no copyright violations. A QPQ has been completed. I prefer the first hook. SL93 (talk) 00:23, 4 September 2019 (UTC)

[edit]This unusual spelling (American Avents) is correct. Thanks to 66.74.136.13 for pointing this out. -SusanLesch (talk) 14:29, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
