- First major mistake, "none of the {{harvnb}} templates for the books link to the actual book when clicked. Please fix it.
- Promotional single track listing are generally avoided, because it was not something released for purchase, it was mainly to club DJs and free with contests and all.
- with some complimenting its sound, while others found it not convincing --> Not convincing in what way?
- The song was not released commercially in the United States, being was ineligible to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 or the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, but reached number five on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart --> Confusing and incorrect.
- Please remove the single line mention of the live performance and merge it else where if you cannot expand on the tour.
- In the US, the song was released as a radio-only single, being ineligible to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 or the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs --> This sentence makes it sound it the song was released to radio so that it could not chart on purpose. Fix it.
- There's no expansion on how the performance was on the Dance charts.
- In the first section, there's too much emphasis on the development of Control than that of Rhythm Nation.
- Well, there's nothing about Control there.
- How is Entertainment 360 a reliable source?
- The song focuses lyrically on homelessness --> These kind of sentences are really worrisome.
- The whole line about the song from the book Born in the U.S.A is ad verbatim copy. Please rephrase it or make it a direct quote to avoid plagiarism.
- considered that "despite its platitudinous message, [the song] has stark edges and angles" --> Here is the problem, a lot of times a direct quote from a reviewer might not make any sense. In those cases you have to rephrase it and make sense out of it. This is one of the instances.
- This line is understandable from me.
- Mention of Rhythm Nation should either be in quotes or in italics if the review is referring to the album as a whole.
- On the book Michael Jackson A Life In Music: A Life in Music, by writer Geoff Brown focusing on Jackson's brother Michael, he noted that like her brother, she can focus on problems, as shown on the song, but offers no solutions --> Extremely confusing line, first there's mixing of Proper nouns then there's issues with the readability of who is doing what.
- and that infortunate --> infortunate?
11JORN, I'm gonna be honest with you, this is not really a good work from you. I have seen your work with the Madonna articles and its so much better. Although I'm putting this on hold I very well wanted a quick fail also. —IB [ Poke ] 23:42, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
