Relatives

[edit]

At this revision, User:Lady Lotus removed information on relatives from the Infobox, stating "only notable relatives go in infobox". I know of no such rule, and couldn't find it when I looked. The only guideline I know of would be for protection of sensitive and/or non-public names. As long as the information is published somewhere and cited, I see no reason it can't be included. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 17:37, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The point of an infobox is to give a snip-it of what the article is about, like a short summary of the persons article so it doesn't make sense to add people that nobody knows, when they aren't notable or have their own article page because then your going to add all kinds of relatives: sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. when they don't direct to another page, it's going to get messy and cluttered. Thus only putting notable relatives in the infobox. Lady Lotus (talk) 17:08, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
