English translation of the name
[edit]I would rename/move the article and call it South Tyrolean Liberty. I think Liberty is the better translation of the German meaning of the word Freiheit in the Name of the movement. Please comment. Fraste (talk) 22:59, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia gives the definition Liberty is a contested moral and political principle that seeks to identify the condition in which human beings are able to govern themselves. I think that fits very well the aim of this political party. I agree to rename it "South Tyrolean Liberty".--Sajoch (talk) 13:49, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
- Agree that liberty etymologically seems to be a better fit, however alia iacta est - ten thousands of Google hits versus a single one (this discussion page) should make clear that the current translation is established. --PanchoS (talk) 21:13, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
