I insert this stanza: Slime produced many albums in the first years. They sang song against war (e.g. We dont need the Army), and they made a punk anthem with the song Hey Punk. They even produced songs against their government (They don't give a Fuck), their justice (Gerechtigkeit - means fairness), their police and their politicians (Sand im Getriebe). The song Yankees raus (Yankees fuck off) is against imperialism. The following years, the neo-fascism in Germany was rising more and more, so they felt dutybound to sing against them.
I live in Austria, and so I do not speak englisch very well, as you can see, please correct it. If there are quenstions, I will answer them as soon as possible. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.186.73.112 (talk) 15:00, 10 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
I've restructured this page a bit. The "History" section feels long to me, and clearly could have more detail. I'd like to add sub-sections there as I flesh this out. That could take me a couple of weeks of work. Snowflakedivertor (talk) 23:44, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
