[edit]Why this article misleads people by portraying Rajput only as Kshatriya and Kurmi as OBC? Do you know which caste is the original Kshatriya class of India? Kurmi are the real Kshatriya people of India. What do you mean OBC kurmi also started using surname Sinha? Sinha is one of the surnames that has historically been used by Kurmi Kshatriya in India.

Merge with Sinha (surname)?
[edit]With the disclaimer that I don't know anything about the subject matter, it seems to me that the topic of Sinha almost completely overlaps with that of Sinha (surname). The little content at Sinha that is sourced is about the surname. The article does appear to be trying to say something else, but it's not clear if this something else is some sort of title or just a random Sanskrit word that appears in the names of kings. In either case, I'm finding it difficult to imagine that this needs to be a separate article from the one about the surname. Ekdalian, Sitush, a penny for your thoughts? – Uanfala 11:30, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Uanfala, you are right! These two articles should be merged without any doubt. Thanks & Regards. Ekdalian (talk) 06:22, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

Proposed merge of Sinha (surname) into Sinha
[edit]Don't see why the name list should be separate from the main article, which is entirely about the surname. Lists should have introductory material explaining the topic anyway. Paul_012 (talk) 03:41, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Seeing as this was proposed above and agreed to back in 2017, I've gone ahead and done the merging. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:20, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
