Dubious: A railroad?
[edit]I understand the French article claims that but it seems highly dubious. I get that French financing had a way of disappearing en route to the colonies, but the line didn't open until 1904. The article on the railway itself credits the idea to someone who was barely a teen at the time (our article credits it to an admin in the mid-1870s) and the relevant EB 1911 articles say that the first (swindled) lines and credit were started in 1880. I'm tagging most of the references, but without any source, they should probably be culled entirely. — LlywelynII 13:10, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
