Explanation of edit re 'jazz song'

The article called the song a 'jazz' song. It was written in 1910 when the beginnings of what would become jazz were coalescing in the work Buddy Bolden and other musicians such as Jelly Roll Morton. The song was written in NYC well before jazz merged into the mainstream of American music and culture. It was pop song adapted by a fair number of jazz artists.
