So, this is really puzzling me, but I feel like there must be some sort of semantic distinction that you're trying to make here that I'm not getting, because obviously we are both clear on what singers and musicians are. So, you linked to musician as a justification for reverting my edit, but I don't understand why that explains anything. "Musician" is not synonymous with "instrumentalist" - instrumentalists are a subset of all musicians (singers + instrumentalists + composers + conductors + producers + .... = musicians). What do singers do? They sing. What do they sing? They sing music. Why would we say they are not musicians? (Is there some Wikiproject discussion that has already hashed this out that's motivating this change? I can't for the life of me understand how they could come to this conclusion...)
