Expansion
[edit]The article needs, among other things, info on the 1956 original. (Sugar Bear 22:42, 7 June 2006 (UTC))
Remake?
[edit]I can find nothing to support the statement that the 1994 film was in any way, shape, or form a remake of the 1956 film. They shared the same title but otherwise had very little in common. If the 1994 film was indeed a remake, this article (among many other things) will require a citation indicating this. The two films should probably be split into separate articles if they are indeed unrelated. 23skidoo 12:25, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- I got the info from IMDb. They aren't always right, so maybe these films are indeed unrelated. I think that the entire Showtime series might just be unrelated movies using the same titles as several AIP classics, and a AIP-style approach, but not exactly being remakes (an example of this is Ralph Bakshi's Cool and the Crazy, which takes the title, but not the story from a 1950s AIP production).
