2 articles about same bombing
[edit]to me, it looks like this article and the May 2021 Kabul bombing article are addressing the same bombing. if that is the case, should these two articles be merged? dying (talk) 02:14, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- Pretty much agree, I think the article “Sayed Ul-Shuhada school bombing” should be kept since it’s specifically pointing at the site of explosion. Marathonmutig (talk) 05:25, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- The articles are about the same bombing & should therefore be merged. The school isn't known outside Afghanistan, so the title should be 2021 Kabul school bombing. Jim Michael (talk) 07:37, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- That shouldn't the reason that because school isn't known outside Afghanistan and so information should be catered based on a place that should be familiar to reader. What kind of reasoning is that? Marathonmutig (talk) 16:05, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
- Also, bombings happen on a daily basis in Kabul and other cities, the title "May 2021 Kabul bombing" is general. Readers may get confused as to wonder which bombing in May 2021. We have to be specific in order to provide accurate information. I hope Wikipedia contributors respect that. Marathonmutig (talk) 16:09, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
