[edit]Hi. My edits to this page were reverted to original due to poor sourcing. Could you please help me understand how to make the sourcing better so that the edits are retained? Gazalsancheti (talk) 04:32, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- For a living person, every factual statement requires references. Also, you put hyperlinks in a table. Hyperlinks are not allowed. And much of your wording is not neutral. All that is not allowed. David notMD (talk) 11:54, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I have added the interview and speaking engagements section, which earlier was also here but was yesterday removed by Teneryuu. This section includes information from publicly available mainstream media where Sanjay Jain has been quoted giving his insights on the different legal aspects Insha.mushtaq (talk) 04:43, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Didn't realise I was mentioned here. I don't believe the speaking engagements and interviews should be given prominence in their own section; at best an external link in §External links is enough. Putting content that Jain is directly involved in comes close to breaching WP:NOTPROMO. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 17:53, 22 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concerns regarding promotional content. However, I would like to clarify that speaking engagements and interviews, particularly those cited from reputable, independent sources, do not fall under the categories of advertising or publicity. Instead, they serve as objective documentation of Sanjay Jain's expertise and contributions to discussions on legal matters.
- These engagements highlight Jain's recognition in his field and provide insights into his professional activities, which are relevant to understanding his notability. As outlined in Wikipedia's guidelines, the information must be verifiable and sourced from independent, third-party media outlets.
- I believe that including this section adds valuable context to Jain's profile and reflects the broader conversation about his work, rather than serving as an extension of any promotional material. If there are concerns about the format or presentation, I am open to revising it to align with Wikipedia's standards while ensuring that important aspects of Jain's career are accurately represented. - We have modeled Sanjay Jain's page after Siddharth Luthra's, who is also a senior advocate. Siddharth has a dedicated section for Publications. Please let me know if we can create a similar table format for Sanjay Jain. Insha.mushtaq (talk) 05:04, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Insha.mushtaq: If you're using AI to write these messages, please stop. You should also read WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS; just because an article uses material like that does not mean it is appropriate to model other articles after it. A good rule of thumb is if an article is designated a good or featured article, some of its elements can be adapted to another article. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 11:45, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
