Is this free software or not?
[edit]I have removed Category:free graphics software because I cannot confirm that SIMDIS is indeed free software. Can someone point to where the source code can be downloaded and what the licence is? (is it a free software licence). Gronky 05:08, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
The SIMDIS webpage is found at: https://simdis.nrl.navy.mil/. To download the software, you must first register as a user and agree to the licensing restrictions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.48.25.74 (talk) 01:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- As far as I could tell from their web page, it is not open source, but it is free. The binaries are downloadable, presumably by anyone, and there are explicitly no restrictions on re-distribution. ALittleSlow (talk) 15:10, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
