page name should be SC Bengaluru
[edit]Page name should be SC Bengaluru 116.193.133.186 (talk) 12:50, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- As per the official badge and website [1], the proper name is Sporting Club Bengaluru. SC Bengaluru is just the shortened name. There is no need to change the name of the page. Writereditor19 (talk) 09:13, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

Sporting Club Bengaluru → SC Bengaluru – Consistency with current naming conventions in Category:Football clubs in India. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 🗿 11:06, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

- The page need not be moved. SC Bengaluru is the shortened name. The complete title as displayed on the club crest and website (https://scbengaluru.com/) is "Sporting Club Bengaluru." Writereditor19 (talk) 09:17, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- The article Melbourne City FC, their club crest and the official website uses the full name, still the article is named Melbourne City FC. Just pointing out! – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 🗿 09:48, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- Even the link you've provided says scbengaluru.com – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 🗿 09:50, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- Strongly oppose: SC Bengaluru is an abbreviation. Let the name remain Sporting Club Bengaluru. Why should abbreviations be the official name? It'll become difficult to tell pages apart from each other. Using abbreviations sets the wrong precedence. Writereditor19 (talk) 22:13, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support, for making it "SC Bengaluru"! Billjones94 (talk) 12:15, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
