Legal Issues of Modern Russian Heraldry
[edit]Modern Russian heralrdy should have removed all czaric monarchic symbols because it is now a democracy.
Also all religious parts, crosses, holy orthodox stones that even Greeks have, Saint George etc must also be removed.
Religion is a privet personal issue, so we must not mix the state with religion, not even in state's symbols.
It is against the rights of man!
Legal use of heraldy in Russian Empire
[edit]As usially on the subject of Russia English wikipedia put everything upside down. In Russian Empire the use of coat of arms of individuals or families was regulated from 1726. The catalog of officially recognized coats of arms was published regurally. The coat of arm was approved/granted by Emperor in person
Coat of arms of towns and lands of Russia existed long before 17th century (see seals of Great Princes and Tsars, and esp. throne of Ivan IV). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.165.173.131 (talk) 18:27, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
