This article has been declined due to what is perceived as a lack of notability. I must respectfully disagree. I would argue that I have provided ample references, and two of them are published peer-reviewed secondary sources written on the life and work of Prof. Boyd.
His notability is clear given the accolades that he has received and in my latest edits I have striven to highlight those more prominently.
Also, according to the list provided in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:PROF, Boyd easily meets the requirements for #1, #2, #3, #5, #6, and #8.
Additionally, I would note that several other prominent figures in the same field of science (all of whom are rightfully deserving of a page on wikipedia) have pages on wikipedia that are less well-supported than this one, such as:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leo_Radom https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Thiel_(chemist)
I am therefore resubmitting and asking that the article again be considered.
