ROC vs. ROC

[edit]

The template this uses interprets ROC as Republic of China which was used from 1932-1976. In 2020 it was used for athletes from Russia since using the name Russia has been banned due to doping. I don't know how to fix the template to not show the Republic of China flag. I put the 2020 ROC values in a separate row but still have it labeled as Russia with the RUS code. Someone who knows more about this than I do should fix this.

Tables

[edit]

The tables at the bottom make little sense to me. Can someone clean them up?--The Spith 21:22, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you mean the Nations table at the bottom then I agree that it makes no sense. I've deleted it from the article and moved it here for reference. 68.167.191.60 (talk) 20:55, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sculls vs Sweeps

[edit]

While watching the Olympic rowing events I came up with the question "Why do some rowers have two oars and other only have one. So I went to my standard authority, the Wikipedia, and did not find an answer. Suggest a few paragraphs be added to explain the various events, something like what can be found here [1]
