El Jefe in Portuguese?

As a Brazilian born, native portuguse speaker, I should say that "El Jefe" is NOT "chief" in Portuguse, but in spanish. In Portuguese, that would be "o chefe", or simply "chefe". So this line is simply uncorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.52.175.35 (talk) 05:12, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Appearances for AC Milan

This bit doesn't make sense - total appearances is less than appearances at league level. 26 league + 1 cup + 5 Europe does not equal 23. 90.214.176.129 (talk) 17:21, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

A important information about the real ethnic about Ronaldinho, his father was an Aramean/Syriac came from Tur Abdin, Mesopotamia, today South-east Turkey, from a village of Midin (Middo, Midun). He was a emigrant in the exil, because of the killing of his nation of Syriacs from the Turks/Ottomans. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.77.114.200 (talk) 02:00, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

I don't know where or how to make this change, but Ronaldinho's debut wasn't at RFK stadium in Washington against AC Milan, it was at Gillette stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts against Juventus, three days before the article alleges it happened. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.222.51.76 (talk) 16:51, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Name

His surname is Assis Moreira, but it is wholly composite of father surname, or Assis and Moreira came from parent respectively? Matthew_hk tc 05:46, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

World Soccer Player of the Decade (Best award of his life not mentioned?)

Am wondering why it hasn't been mentioned in his Honours and awards that he won the Prestigious British World Soccer (Magazine) best player of this decade. Am really shocked, because this is actually his best award if you look at it, it embodies all his achievements since 2000 to 2009. Anyway I will post it here. On December 10, 2009, Ronaldinho won World Soccer's Player of the Decade. Based on the votes cast by readers in the 10 annual votes between 2000 and 2009, the Brazilian – who was our(World Soccer Magazine) World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005 – is the outstanding performer of the past 10 years.

Spanish-Brazilian

Wondering why he is only referred to as Brazilian? Shouldn't it be Spanish-Brazilian. He has the citizenship. I'm aware it's mentioned in the article introduction, but why isn't it Spanish-Brazilian on first reference. Is there some sort of double-standard on how nationality is referred to? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.97.131.4 (talk) 21:36, 24 December 2009

As he is not a Spanish descendant, to terms should be Brazilian-Spanish/Spaniard. However his primary nationality is Brazil, it is confusing to refer him as Brazilian-Spanish. The current one : "Brazilian footballer......He became a Spanish citizen in January 2007." seems better. Matthew_hk tc 03:04, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
I'm lost. What has Ronaldinho Gaúcho to do with Cape Verde? He was born and raised in Brazil. TFW (talk) 02:09, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Ronalinho is a fair and nice player on the field and everywhere Ronaldiho position is farward —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.191.121.246 (talk) 08:25, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

It is Ronald-inho, and he is a FORward, or more specificity a second striker. second striker is similar to attacking midfielder/playmaker. Matthew_hk tc 03:07, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Surnames

As per a book about Ronaldinho, his father is João de Assis Moreira and his mother Miguelina isn't nee Assis nor nee Moreira. Matthew_hk tc 22:59, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

It is a very complicated case of Brazilian surname. His father surnamed "Assis Moreira" and Ronaldino had a uncle "João Ademar Assis" aka Miquimba (mother's brother or father's brother?). His mother surnamed "Assis dos Santos", daughter of Mr. Assis ( Probably daughter of Ms. Assis nee Santos or his father full surname is "Assis dos Santos" )
He personally known as Assis in early career but Ronaldino's son was João Moreira. Except had a reliable source to confirm the surname of Ronaldino parental grandfather (father's father, either Assis or Moreira or Assis-Moreira), otherwise the surname Template was useless.
